Ram Pant’s — Background & Experience

Early Years: Ram came to United States from Nepal in 1958. He received electrical engineering degrees from Michigan State University and Northwestern University and later a business degree from the Krannert School at Purdue University.

Industry Experience: During his in excess of 50 year career, he worked for large US corporations like Xerox Corporation, Gould, AM International and Compugraphic Corporation (A Division of Agfa Graphics).

Consulting & Academic Experience: (1) Ram consulted with State Street Consultants in Boston Massachusetts for two years. He was an Assistant Professor in the Business Division at Merrimack College, North Andover, Massachusetts for 5 years.

Entrepreneurial Experience: In 1994, Ram established an independent agency for Wipro Ltd. of India to provide software services to US corporations in New England. At the time Wipro had only one account in the US. He put together a group of six consultants. He secured the following accounts for Wipro:

During the 8-year period (1994 – 2002) his team generated $104 Million of consulting sales for Wipro.
